STORY TIME: The Last-Minute Thrift Dash
It started with an idea at 4 p.m. and a deadline by 7. Armed with nothing but coffee, a half-charged phone and wild inspiration, I bolted out the door and headed straight to the thrift store. Inside, the aisles were buzzing with possibility. I wove through the racks like a treasure hunter on a timer.
And then—it happened. A multicolored, bright tie casually draped over the rack. Next to it, a basket of mismatched scarves waiting to be reimagined. The ideas started flowing faster than I could keep up with them.
That’s the magic and fun of re-purposing—you never know exactly what you’re going to discover and be inspired by.
